About this Speaker
Ambassador Orlando Leite Ribeiro holds the position of Secretary for Trade and International Relations (Deputy Minister) at the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply of Brazil since January 2019. He has 27 years of diplomatic career in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brazil (MFA) and has worked in the Economic Sections of the Brazilian Embassies in Washington and Asunción; as well as in the Trade Promotion Section of the Brazilian Consulate in New York. He has been Director of the Department of Trade and Investment Promotion of the MFA. Both in Brasília and abroad, he has worked mainly with issues related to finance, economy, regional integration, trade promotion, investment and agribusiness.
